2008-2009

Seeding Social Change

Gurusharan Education Trust was founded by Dr. Jagpati Prasad & Maj Mitesh K Sinha; registered in Ranchi on Feb 6, 2009.

Vision: Transforming rural lives through holistic education, ethics, and value-based aspiring decision-making.

2009-2012

Rural Awakening & Early Literacy

Launch of flagship programs: UNMESH (bridging urban-rural gaps), DHYEY (mentorship), and MANTHAN (summer camps). Early seeds of financial education were sown through role-plays and exercises on savings and goal-setting.

2013-2016

Expanding with Digital Tools

Initiated AV classrooms and teacher workshops. We encouraged students to understand budgeting in daily life through community interaction. Theme emerging: Empowered mind → Financially aware future.

2017-2020

Online Learning & Free Resources

Launched free online courses and public library access. Introduced money-awareness games for kids to grasp banking, saving, and entrepreneurship as essential life tools.

2023

Entry of Praarabdh

Financial Literacy for All. The Praarabdh website soft-launched with blogs and guides like “How Loans Work” and “Investing for Beginners,” bringing financial education directly to new-to-credit users in Tier II & III India.

Aug 15, 2024

Digital Leap for Financial Access

Official launch of Praarabdh’s Aggregator Platform. A one-stop platform to compare & apply for loans, insurance, and mutual funds, embedded with simulators to empower informed financial decisions.

May-June 2025

Community Model & Expansion

Launched the Referral Partner Program to encourage users to become community educators. Opened a new branch in Jammu & Kashmir to serve remote communities.

July 2025 - Present

Synergized Impact

Praarabdh celebrates its 1st anniversary. Gurusharan reaches 600+ students. Both institutions reinforce the shared vision: True empowerment is not just literacy—it is knowing how to learn, earn, and manage.
